We Only Sell Businesses

 

Here at ASG we sell businesses: That is our job. If you want to sell your distribution, manufacturing, service, or professional corporation/sole proprietorship, then we can assist you with the following:

  • Provide a free business valuation
  • Find qualified buyers
  • Locate lenders
  • Manage the process to ensure confidentiality and an efficient, timely completion of the sale.

The businesses we represent are located in Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties. We have some basic requirements for the businesses we take on as clients. There is some leeway where these requirements are concerned, but in general our clients are larger, established businesses with these statistics:

Market Values from $500,000 to $10,000,000

Employees from less than 10 to more than 100

Revenues from $500,000 to $25,000,000

 

We are generalists in the M&A field and don't focus on one particular industry. That being said, however, we do not represent hotels, motels, taverns, restaurants, start-ups, or buyers.

 


We Only Represent Sellers


All of our efforts are spent representing sellers. In fact, we market ourselves as Business Seller Representation Specialists and handle all of the necessary arrangements for the business seller. We do have an extensive database of buyers, but we use it exclusively to locate buyers for our sellers. Other services we offer as part of our "Business Seller Representation" are locating lenders and handling the preparations for a sale that maximizes cash for the seller while minimizing risks associated with taxes, confidentiality and legal issues.


How We are Compensated


You are probably aware of our Success Fees -- we only get paid when the sale is successfully completed. Simply put, we only get paid when you get paid. We adopted this approach for several reasons. First of all, we are confident in our services (and have over a 90% success rate) so you only pay when the transaction closes. Also, while front-end fees are becoming common in the business broker industry, ASG doesn't operate that way. Paying front-end fees leaves you vulnerable, you may not receive the services you are paying for and the sale may not go through. With other intermediaries you lose the up-front fees whether the sale is successful or not. When ASG represents your business, you only pay when the deal closes.
